COVID Shot Comes With Free Gas, Dunkin' Card, Waterpark Ticket

NEW HAVEN, CT —The shot is free. And with it comes a $10 gas card, free Dunkin' or waterpark tickets. Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the City of New Haven Department of Public Health, in collaboration with Griffin Health, will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Forbes Gas Station, 401 Forbes Ave. Residents getting shots will receive $10 worth of free gas, courtesy of Forbes. In addition to the free gas, Griffin Health is offering either a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card or one ticket to Quassy Amusement Park to anyone getting vaccinated. However, residents aged 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and complete one of the parental consent forms available on site. Mayor Justin Elicker and New Haven Health Director Maritza Bond will kick off the clinic at 9 AM. The Health Department will be using the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Shots are free. No insurance or documentation is required.
