Can anyone help me with my credit?

I’ve been trying to buy a house recently. My credit is not the best. I make enough money but don’t have enough for the down payment. My credit cards carry high balances making me unable to qualify for down payment assistance either. My aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and I pretty much put everything on my credit cards and she unfortunately passed away and at this point I just really need someone who can give me advice for free because I can’t afford to pay $129/mo for someone else to fix it. On top of that, my lease was up last month and I was unable to find another place to stay because no one is answering the phones in the leasing offices or responding to my emails and I tried paying and applying online and ended up being out of more money because I went ahead and paid the application fees too. So now I’m homeless with bad credit lol. It would help if someone could also tell me an affordable place with 1br, that actually answers the phone. Thanks
