LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Friday. Here is information from the reports: Tip jar theft A woman stole an unknown amount of money from a tip jar shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lucca's Ristorante, 108 W. Burlington Ave. Nursing home theft A small pocketknife and $60 in cash were stolen from a room at Lexington of La Grange nursing home, 4735 Willow Springs Road. It happened between 2:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday. No driver's license Jose Rebello-Gomez, 37, of Chicago, was arrested about 10 p.m. Wednesday at La Grange Road and Cossitt Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license and improper turn. Bicyclist's offense A bicyclist spray-painted the back of a building about 2 a.m. Monday in the 10 block of South La Grange Road. Shoplifting A man stole several medicine bottles Wednesday from Walgreens, 2 N. La Grange Road. Credit card fraud A resident in the 1000 block of Eighth Avenue reported Wednesday that someone attempted to open a credit card in the resident's name. No financial loss was reported. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
