Press release from the City of Twinsburg: July 9, 2021 Through its partnership with National Testing Network, the City of Twinsburg is currently testing for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic. Any interested candidate must complete NTN's FireTEAM exam by August 30, 2021 to be considered for the position.   The Twinsburg Fire Department's staff of over 40 people includes a Chief, Assistant Chief, 3 Captains, 7 Lieutenants, 22 +/- Fulltime firefighter/medics, as well as additional part time personnel. Utilizing modern equipment and technology, the department provides fire, emergency medical, and rescue services from two stations. TFD services a vibrant community with many excellent amenities, excellent schools and a large commercial and industrial complex.   Members have opportunities to pursue interests in Fire Prevention, Fire Safety Education, Fire Investigation, Technical Rescue, Water Rescue, HAZMAT, Fire Service and EMS Instruction, including participation on county-wide, regional, and state teams.
