TUSCALOOSA, AL — An online fundraising drive has raised just short of $22,000 for the family of a pregnant Northport mother of four who was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday on U.S. Highway 43.
Audra Rogers, 36, was expecting another child — a boy — at the time of the crash, which also seriously injured her four boys: Roman, Reed, Rawley and Rhett.
Rogers' children were transported to Children's Hospital in Birmingham and continue to recover from their injuries, according to Katie Bramlett, Rogers' mother.
Bramlett told Patch earlier this week that three of children — Roman, Reed and Rhett — each have broken legs and other injuries, while Rawley has a broken jaw in three places and lacerations from the crash.
As medical bills are sure to accumulate, family friend Mike Hogue started the fundraiser on Tuesday and says all of the money will go directly to the Rogers family to aid in covering necessary
