Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/04/2021   On Sunday July 4, 2021, at around 5:45am officers responded to a report of a person shot an Pine St NE and Courtland St. On scene the officers found the victim, an adult male, with a gunshot wound. The preliminary investigation found that the victim had been walking near the intersection when a suspect got out of a vehicle and shot him before fleeing. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition and the investigation is continuing.   Please keep in mind that this is preliminary information and may change as the investigation progresses.
