I'm personally fed up with lazy uneducated broke unskilled people trying to play middle man by scamming homeowners and others in Greensboro and surrounding areas. Skilled tradesmen, renovation and remodel companies need to call out these idiots and shut them down. They go around pretending to be a business with no abilities, no equipment, no licensing, no insurance and no money, selling jobs to homeowners and renters. They then try to get an actual skilled tradesmen, renovation and remodeling company etc to do the job dirt cheap. They literally believe that a person with thousands upon thousands of dollars in equipment, years of experience, licenses, insurance, registered business etc somehow needs them to find customers. A broke unskilled lazy moron that hasn't got a clue and probably lives with mommy. Unreal. This idiot posting the 'be your own boss pressure wash' B.S. somehow thinks that someone who is able to purchase thousands of dollars in equipment, insurance coverage, registration fees, licensing fees, education costs, and successfully complete big jobs, needs this idiot to find customers for them, which he fraudulently acquires and then sells to a real company. Keep in mind these morons make the homeowners think they are an actual company. It's like me pretending to be a plumber, lying to homeowners, and then I call roto rooter to come do the job. As an engineer and business owner I'm sick and tired of meeting clients in Greensboro and Winston who have had the unfortunate experience of being scammed by people like this. In Texas, where I worked for years, people like this dude would be put on blast by every real contractor and business in the city. These people cause distrust with customers, lie, cheat, steal, and are a major problem in NC. I think it's mainly lazy uneducated millennials that think they can make money off of real businesses by lying to homeowners and renters. These idiots can cause a lot of problems. I have received calls from morons like this pretending to be the homeowner and trying to hire me to do a job. They scammed the homeowner and charged them a very high price by pretending to be a business or contractor. They then call me pretending to be the homeowner and offering me a ridiculous low price to complete the job. This leads to lawsuits, revenue loss, non payment for services, distrust and many more problems. All skilled tradesmen and business owners need to put these leeches in their place like many other states have done. Enough is enough. Just last week I had a customer tell me how a person that advertised 'owner of a major painting company ' got them to hand over a $10,000 deposit check. Dude didn't even know what a paintbrush looks like. He then advertised on craigslist trying to find a REAL painting company willing to do the job for $2000. It was a 2000 sq foot home so he thought that meant 2000 sq foot of paint coverage. Little did this moron know that the 2000 sq foot home required 9000 sq foot of paint coverage. He obviously had no idea how this stuff works. He spent 8k of the homeowners deposit thinking he could get the job done for $2000. The cost for just the paint was $2500. I think we all know how this story ended. Needless to say, he didn't find an actual painting company willing to lose $6000, the homeowner was scammed, and of course another job was stolen from a real tradesman by a freeloading fraudulent middle man wannabe. Lets stop this crap folks.
