Rocko - Great Dog!!

Rocko is a 10 year old dog raised with (4) children. He was abandoned due to a domestic dispute issue, his mother (owner) had to leave him in order to protect her (4) children. He went (4) days without care before being rescued by a neighbor. The owners mom called the neighbor and explained the situation and that he was at risk to be put down by the disgruntled ex-husband. The neighbor found a great shelter West Deer dog shelter that would accept him. The neighbor could not keep him due to having (3) rabbits and a cat. Rocko is about 30-35 pounds. He has been fully checked out. We believe he is a Basenji mix, the main characteristics his ears and build. This is being posted in an effort to help socialize the issue and get him to a forever home for the remainder of his life. He is a great dog. Barb at West Deer runs a great facility.
