My son and his wife are having to rehome their beautiful 6 yr. old border collie because they are having a baby. Ember is a spayed, female red and white B.C. This dog is for an experienced B.C. owner that understands the breed, and a child-free home. She only loves the few adults she has come to know and has never been allowed to be around children since she can be situationally aggressive. She likes cats, they have one. She hates small dogs, she is rather indifferent to like-size dogs and will ignore them at dog parks. She loves to swim in the lake to retrieve things, go on walks, and LOVES to ride in cars! She would do well with an active owner or a farm environment. She is crate trained, potty trained and up to date with her vaccinations. She will come with her crate, her toys and all her goodies. Her rehoming fee is negotiable; we just want her in a happy home that will help her adjust to her new surroundings. The baby is due soon and we don't want her to go into a humane society facility since she would be fearful and not easily adopted.
