A local film production needs a female lead actor to play a hard rock musician who doubles as a classical musician. This story is based on the book, Soothing The Savage Beat, by E. Augustine, available on Amazon. It is a post-apocalyptic style story about the role music will play in a dystopian future, not a musical production. The actress must be able to run, play a hard rocker with a mean attitude, and show a soft side as well. She's angry at the world, but one of the good guys. Her lead counterpart, a male, tries to keep her in line for their own good. The story has some violence, but no gore, concert scenes, a car chase scene, no sex scenes, but has a hidden love story of sorts. If you fit the role, but cannot play a musical instrument, you will be trained to 'fake' it by a professional musician and teacher. Thanks. E. Augustine Writer/Director
