Nanny needed at least 15 days a month, could be more for the right person. No weekends (unless previously arranged) and hours are 8-6 unless the kids are in school. Must be over 18 and able to pass a background check. Pay to be discussed based on experience. We are looking for a long-term person to stay on so please do not apply if you are looking to leave in the fall. We need someone to start ASAP. The household can be a bit busy at times so organization skills are a must. Tasks include transporting to therapy appointments so you must have a license, insurance, and clean driving record. Aside from that just keeping them active, occupied, and safe is easy. The children are almost 7 & 8- the 8 year old has Downs but requires minimal extra care, just a lot of supervision. Must have patience and energy to keep up with these two. We have 2 older kids that may be here when you are here but will not require care or supervision. One parent works from home most of the time. The other works week on week off, mid week to mid week. We need someone a minimum of every other week, but could be more for the right person. Must love pets- we have cats and dogs. We have had a lot of applications and so far no luck. Here are some tips: * please be honest, and expect that we will be too. We can be flexible in some areas, but we need to know in advance! *please be willing to stick around. Don’t apply if you are going back to school, moving, or not looking to nanny long term. *please be local. Commuting from the valley isn’t cost effective and in the winter I need someone who is not fighting weather and traffic. * please have your own transportation. Car sharing, taking a bus or cab isn’t going to work with 2 kids. Bare minimum: 15 days a month after school and transport 3 days a week to therapy. Bonus add ons: light housekeeping, extra days, dog walking, date night availability, and/or full days when school is out.
