Description

This is Cass! (Castiel) Here are a few of the awesome things about him: He's a pretty cool guy and LOVES love. He loves playing, especially fetch and tug of war. There is no better toy than a squeaky tennis ball, and he loves to be chased when he has one. He lives for fetch. He is super affectionate, loves snuggles, and gets super pumped when you ask him "who's a good boy!?" Belly and face scratches are LIFE for him! He is crate trained at night (no accidents!), loves EVERY single human he sees, and has absolutely rocked potty training. He knows sit and lay down, and is extremely treat responsive. Now for the negative: He's not a fan of the rain, and is scared of getting in the bathtub. Once he's in the bathtub he will sit there, but he WILL jump out the first second that he knows he can. He is allergic to flea saliva, but he just had a dose of Frontline administered 2 days ago. We have him on a 3 1/2 week schedule instead of monthly because fleas are bad this year, and he does NOT deal with them well. He loves kids, but he's a jumper. He's best buds with my two year old, and never jumps on him or knocks him over. However he has jumped on my 7&10 year old and left welts and a couple of scratches. We've been trying to work with him on this, but he gets super excited and ends up hurting them without meaning to. It has gotten to where my 7 year old won't go anywhere near him and is afraid of him, or to he around us when he is in the room. This is hard because he's a family dog and we always have him around. We love him, but at the end of the day we have to prioritize our kids, and our kid shouldn't have to feel excluded because she's afraid of the dog. So unfortunately we have to re-home him. He will be 6 months old on July 19th. He isn't neutered. He's not aggressive with people, toys, or food, and definitely isn't a watchdog. Other than jumping he is a very gentle boy. He will come with a nearly new X-Large dog crate, a crate mat, a large dog bed, his food bowls (2 steel bowls in a bone shaped rubber mat so they can't be knocked over, a food dispenser, his harnesses, a regular and a retractable leash, all of his treats, toys, large bones, a bandana, Chi brand puppy shampoo and conditioner, and his food. Literally everything you could need to care for him, and I'm sure there are things that I left out that will come with him too. He really is an awesome little guy, and we are charging a rehoming fee of $250 for him. We just want him to go to a good family or to good people who will love him, take him on lots of walks, and play all the fetch he could hope for. I also ask that you only contact me if you're serious about him. No scammers, no people that won't treat him like another member of their family.
