Description
Type of bands that might match the style I'm thinking of: Melvins, Jesus Lizard, Pissed Jeans, Zeke, Flipper, and a little GBH
Looking for bass/lead OR rhythm guitar/drums. If you play bass or guitar, I know an incredible bass player who would also make a great guitar player, so it kind of depends on what falls into place first. I can scrounge up an occasional drummer until someone more permanent comes along.
I have access to a practice space in downtown Tacoma with one other musician.
I don't really want to be stuck to a guitar this time, but I can handle some intermediate rhythm stuff sometimes, if the situation arises.
I'm a pretty terrible guitar player, but I do have a good singing voice, so I've always wanted to front a project that doesn't require that at all. I have a lot of responsibilities outside of trying to get a project off the ground with my long time friend and jam buddy, so I'm in no rush to start playing shows, but I still know some people in the local punk scene that remember me and my friends, so we could play shows around the western Washington area and I would love to play Punks in the Woods again. No meth, heroin, or crack. The hippy drugs are cool, though. You won't get piss tested, but we'll notice if you're spun out and flakey. Text only at
, or send an email.
