Hit by drunk driver!!

Hi my names Lucy,    I was hit by drunk driver, who broke both my legs and I ended in hospital for 7 months. I ended up getting covid-19 while in there and my right got infection that I ended up having to have amputated. I know I got out of there knowing things would be tough but to what extent I did not know. If it was just me I would be ok but I have my 10 year old and I don't want her to go through or struggle with me. I am trying to get my disability but that isn't quick by any means. I was hit by 78 yr old and in the middle of back and forth with my lawyer taking care of that.which doesn't seem that's gonna be fast either. I have alot of physical therapy to do.
