Description

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing • Feeds clean linens through moving belt folding machines. • Hand Folds – Manually folds small pieces. • Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards. • Flat Worker Ironer, Feeder’s folders, Shakers, Stackers and Wrappers • Tie out – Laundry- Ties bundles of clean dried linen. • Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers. • Preventing accidents by working safely is to be the highest priority. • Tracking production • Maintains a clean and safe work area. • Notifying Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues • Performs other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Able to respond to basic verbal commands. • Effectively follow directions. • Organized • Multi-lingual a plus Computer / Technical Skills / Job Specific Skills: • Laundry or housekeeping experience a plus • Detail oriented Physical/Mental Requirements: • Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift. • Able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs. • May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels. • May be required to bend, reach and/or lift up to 25 lbs.
