CitySwoon, a national singles events company is looking for a freelance event host for approximately 1-3 shifts per month. Each shift is about 2.5 hours in length - varying between 7:30pm - 10:30pm - on various nights of the week Tuesday - Saturday. This is a fun opportunity to earn a bit of extra income whilst working in a relaxed and professional environment. Duties include touching base with venue management/staff on the night of the event, greeting and helping event attendees check in, facilitation of our matched speed dating 2.0 events. Events are conveniently located at venues near the DC Metro. The ideal candidate will be/possess: Friendly, Professional, Punctual, and Communicative Prior experience in a customer facing role such as event management, bartending, retail or hosting is ideal. Full training will be given. Committed freelancers only need apply, as we are looking for someone to commit for the long term. First training shift will be either Thursday, July 15 or Thursday, July 29. Both shifts are taking place at Proper 21K in Foggy Bottom and will start at 7:30pm and last until 10pm or so. Apply here -
