Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the development, oversight and coordination of Agency facilities and their corresponding operational functions. This position is a member of the management team and works with vendors to ensure that all Agency property is maintained, upgraded and secure in the most cost effective and time efficient manner. This position supervises the Facilities Technician positions. Works under the direct supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, Operations and Strategy. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: - Associates degree or equivalent work experience are necessary to perform this job - Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. - 2 or more years of supervisory experience - Skills and knowledge in basic carpentry, dry wall, floor maintenance, operation of tools and equipment, plumbing, electricity and other construction-related activities. - Knowledge of building, planning and laws pertaining to same - Prior to date of hire and required throughout employment: valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, satisfactory criminal background check, Food Handler’s Card, Covid-19 vaccination - Above certifications must be kept current to remain employed - Access to reliable transportation required - Ability to work after-hours, on weekends and holidays to accomplish maintenance tasks and to respond to emergencies - Women and minority applicants are encouraged to apply.
