Description
I have lots of baby purple mystery snails available, as well as some baby wild-colored (brown/black) mystery snails with purple genes. They were born 4/27 and range from pea to nickel size. Parents (pictured) are large and beautiful! They love to play and are fun to watch. They eat a mixed diet of algae wafers, meat wafers, veggie sticks, and green beans. Snails need a good calcium source as well as a PH of above 7.0 (preferably higher) to maintain their beautiful shells and prevent shell deterioration. They will grow very fast, and can start laying clutches when they are the size of a quarter or so. They will grow quicker in higher temperatures, but their shells will be thinner and prone to breakage. Ideal parameters are around 72-76 degrees with a PH of 7.5-8.0.
Asking $2 each, but can give you a deal if you would like 10 or more. They cannot be gendered until they are ready to breed when they are larger than the size of a quarter. I am happy to send them home with food samples and can answer any questions you have. Thanks!
