Soho House Austin is looking for ROOM ATTENDANTS, TURNDOWN ATTENDANTS, and HOUSEMAN!!! The property is located on South Congress in the Music Lane development and features 46 bedrooms, club, an outdoor terrace, rooftop pool, cinema, and private event space. Who you are… • Detail oriented, professional and approachable • Curious learner that’s driven by results • Passionate about hospitality and customer service • Fun and friendly at work and home • Loyal, honest and genuine in the work that you do ROOM ATTENDANT ROLE • To ensure cleanliness of guest, deep cleaning rooms on the daily basis, ensure all linen is changed on the daily basis. • Removing of all linen and trash from the room Cleaning of bathrooms and disinfecting. • Replacing all used amenities after every guest Departure. • Prepare bed and with linen, ensure linen is free of stain and or rips. • Reporting of any defects in a guest room and or thru out the hotel. • Vacuum every room Sweep and mop daily. • Understanding and knowledge of property amenities. • Assisting guests as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. TURNDOWN ATTENDANT ROLE • Perform routine turndown housekeeping service including but not limited to: emptying trash, dusting, straightening up the room, removing used room service items, replacing used glassware and towels, replacing paper products and amenities, wiping down surfaces, turning down and refreshing bed linens, closing curtains, and turning on appropriate lighting. • Maintain the cleanliness of linen closets. • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. • Consistently prepare each guest room for turndown service and ensure service standards are followed. • Refresh towels, water and other amenities as required. • Ensure the guest’s bed is turn downed properly for their return. • Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift. • Follow departmental policies and procedures. • Report necessary maintenance items. • Follow all safety and sanitation policies. HOUSEMAN ROLE • Cleanliness and maintenance of the Club and Hotel. • Cleanliness of Club and Hotel perimeter. • Assist Room Attendants with the cleaning of guest bed rooms, focusing on deep cleaning procedures. • Cleaning of the Cowshed Spa. • Making up of roll-a-ways, couches and cribs as needed. • Proper disposal of Club and Hotel garbage. • Maintains storage areas. • Restocks storage areas and back landing areas as needed. • Maintaining safety in all areas by placing proper signage as needed. • Assisting guests as needed. • Understanding and knowledge of property amenities. • Ability to work as a team and with other departments as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. ***PLEASE EMAIL RESUME and include what POSITION you are applying to in the SUBJECT LINE**** FULL TIME POSITIONS = BENEFITS!!!!
