We are now hiring for the Admissions Department at the 2021 Champlain Valley Fair! If you are friendly, hardworking and customer service oriented, this is the right fit for you! This is a great way to earn some fast extra cash before the summer ends. The 2021 Champlain Valley Fair runs from August 27th to September 5th; there are shifts available all 10 days of the fair in all areas of Admissions including: Cashiers Parking Ticket Sellers Ticket Takers Gate Keepers The Champlain Valley Fair is a long running tradition, and we have admissions team members who come back year after year to have a great time putting on an exciting local event. After a year off due to the pandemic, we are ensuring that the fair can happen once again with safety and cleanliness at the top of our minds. It is a great chance to enjoy getting outside for the last weeks of summer, being a part of a great local event, and earning some excellent extra cash in a few days of work. Requirements: Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments Must be at least 18 years of age Customer service oriented Ability to 8 hour shifts We look for people who are available for most if not all 10 days of the fair Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment Must be able to walk long distances with ease and in possible inclement conditions Must be able to stand for approximately 8-12 hours a day depending on length of shift Must maintain a neat and clean appearance each day Must be able to attend pre-employment meeting on either August 24th or 25th at 5:30pm We provide training and orientation at the paid pre-employment meeting, and always pair up new staff with experienced team members.
