PRIMARY OBJECTIVE  Carry and load construction materials to craft persons working on building construction projects REGULAR WORK ACTIVITIES  Checks daily construction schedule to keep apprised of material needs on the job and delivers materials to site in advance of the particular construction phase.  Loads construction materials on flatbed truck in storage area and drives flatbed truck to building site. Unloads materials and carries to particular work area at the construction site.  Cleans up job sites and fills scrap truck by hand, using carts, wheelbarrows and barrels.  Unloads materials from vendors' delivery trucks at storage area, checks accuracy of delivery ticket and signs receipt for materials.  Sets aside materials that do not meet company specifications and returns them to “quarantine" area next to storage area.  Conducts month-end inventory of materials in storage area and reports to supervisor.  May assist in team assignments requiring utilization of many crafts on the site.
