WE ARE SEEKING A self-motivated and energetic Substructure Laborer. RESPONSIBILITIES Labor/Foreman/Heavy Equipment: Perform manual labor such as shovel/ broom work, hand digging, trenching, pulling and removing material, job site clean-up and various tasks associated with utility construction. Handling cable, conduit, tools and heavy materials Operate hand and power tools for demolition, concrete removal, grading, and other general tasks using company and/or rental equipment. Digging holes and working on the ground and other similar work Install, remove, splice, bond, terminate and test conductor Operate heavy construction equipment Participate in daily job briefing and safety meetings with ability to follow instructions and perform assigned duties in a timely manner. Lineman Requirements: Class A a plus, but not required. 1-3 years of related experience in both aerial and underground line experience in Telephone and/or Cable TV 1-year experience with the use of telecommunication construction linemen vehicles and equipment Class A preferred Class C optional with 2 years excellent driving record OSHA Regulation knowledge Dig Alert 4216 rules and regulations is a plus Ability to climb poles Good communication skills Attention to detail Bilingual Spanish a plus Must pass background check and drug screen. LABOR REQUIREMENTS Class C license and 2 years excellent driving record required. Must be able to lift, reach, dig and carry heavy objects with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance. Must be reliable, able to show up on time and be available for overtime during weekdays and/or weekends.
