This is a perfect job for a student or someone who has flexible working hours. 15 usd per hour Background information: I currently have 4 Airbnb apartments in downtown Chicago, and will add more apartments the coming weeks-months. They are all located in the Loop, West Loop, River North or Gold Coast. I am busy and not always in Chicago and I need someone who is super organized to take care of the apartments. You are responsible for cleaning the apartments that they always look amazing, that all the supplies are stocked and that any guests’ emergencies are taken care of immediately. You are not responsible for the Airbnb platform, so you don’t have to manage the online bookings and calendar. Your profile: • Very clean and organized • Problem Solver • Creative thinker • Trustworthy and reliable • Clean • Great communicator • Very flexible • Eye for detail • Have smartphone to take clear pictures You need to be: • Living close to the Loop/River North so you can get to the apartments quickly • Available between 11am – 3pm, flexible times for emergencies, also on weekends and evenings Your tasks: • Clean apartments: In between guests clean the apartment, which is between 11am and 3pm. This means; doing laundry, make the bed, clean the kitchen, living room area, bathroom, take out trash, clean the floor, dust make sure everything is sparkling clean before the next guests checks in. All cleaning products are in the apartment. • Check apartments: Visit every apartment at least once a month. This must be between check-in and check-out when guests are not there. You will check if everything looks okay in the apartment, throw away things that are not supposed to be there. Check all the supplies and send me a list of things that need to be ordered (like cleaning products/coffee/tea/toilet paper/new towels). I expect you to keep track of which apartments you have visited and which you need to visit your self and give me weekly reports. You can also do this if you are there for a cleaning. • Guests emergencies: It happens that guests lose their key, cannot open the lockbox to pickup the key or any other emergency. In that case you will need to get to the guest as soon as possible to help them. You might also need to help to put in new lockboxes and take clear pictures. • Breakdown apartments: At the end of the season (Oct – Nov) I might need your help putting things into moving boxes, such as glass/silver ware into boxes and bedlinen into plastic bags. • Any other tasks that might be needed to ensure smooth operations.
