Mickey, a sweet, loving, loyal, handsome dog is up for adoption. Mickey has just spent 2 years at Cortez Rescue in Southern Baja Mexico and before that, 2 years on a chain. Despite this, he is loving and well adjusted…and grateful to be out of the Rescue. I volunteer for this wonderful rescue who finds homes for so many abandoned, abused and neglected dogs. On occasion, I’ll take a special dog under my wings and bring them back to Eugene to find them a home. Mickey is a wonderful dog and so deserving of life in a loving home. He is 4 years old and just loves his people. He wags his tail when you just look at him! He is happy, loyal, easy going, knows general commands, completely house trained, nondestructive and bonds easily to his people. He loves going for walks and hikes and car rides. He needs to be the only pet in household because he showed reactivity toward some of the other dogs while at the Rescue. This might have been due to him being in the shelter for so long, which can cause kennel stress. He is completely vaccinated, neutered and has had a complete health check by our Veterinarian.
