Description

This lovely gal (with perfect hearing, unlike some all whites) is Flame! Her Bday is Feb 17th, 2020. She’s fixed and UTD on her shots, and is currently located in Maryville, TN. I have no clue what breed she is, and she's around 50-60lb. Pros: Well house and crate trained. She loves riding in the car, and is calm and quiet on trips. She knows heel, sit, down, stay, wait (at doorways) quiet, come, crate, place (on a cot bed) in and out, up and off, and releases to break. She’s also off leash trained. She has lived with dogs, cats, foxes, and live stock. She is very playful with dogs, and I’ve never seen her cause a scuffle. She lived with a few kids under 6 years until 4 months, and is still good with kids currently. But she is rowdy, and would bowl them over if too young. She’s a lover, and adores snuggles. She often slept in bed with her owner and loved lounging on the couch. Cons: She reminds me of a boxer, in that she gets worked up and excited kinda fast. Not aggressively, but “YOU’RE HOME AND I MISS YOU” She’s fairly vocal. Not in a barking way, but in a “tells you about her day” style, like a huskies chatter. She likes keeping up a running monologue. She gets extra excited when I get home, but she’s learning to respect “hush” or “quiet” If you find a “talking” dog cute, good! If you prefer silence, welll, this might not be the dog for you. She’s a boarding client of mine, and her owner has fallen on hard times. Flame was crated too much, and isn’t able to get the physical or mental attention that she needs, and it was telling on her behavior and happiness. She has been with me a week now, and is feeling and behaving much better. She’s looking for a home that has the time to devote to her, as she needs a fair amount of exercise and is still working on impulse control.
