Ultimate Whale Watch and Snorkel is seeking a boat mechanic to join our team! We are a locally owned and operated company that runs hard bottom inflatable pontoon rafts from Lahaina Harbor for snorkel and whale watching tours with the island's visitors. We pride ourselves on operating a fair and positive work environment and are looking for someone who works well independently and with a team, reliable, willing to learn and mechanically inclined. Part-time needed beginning in November. Overtime may be required if urgent mechanic work arises Professional and courteous interaction and communication with captain, crew, guests and other employees Adheres to all company policies and procedures Job Requirements Confident mechanic on rafting vessels Mechanic Certification is a plus Lives within 15 minute commute of Lahaina Harbor Reliable, available Access to a vehicle to get to vessel locations for on-call mechanic jobs Owns a phone, able to answer on-call phone calls during hours of operation Skills Excellent Communication Skills Outgoing and positive attitude Flexible and works well with others Self-Starter Compensation Pay depends on experience.
