In this first installation of our Concert Series, we're looking to be the catalyst that ignites the underground to set Philly ablaze! Culture Soldiers is a 3 part Concert Series that is dedicated to curating live-performance events showcasing talented Artists who are influential, integral and involved in the progression of their communities. We are committed to playing our part in building Philadelphia’s Artist community in a way that is lucrative, educational and revolutionary. Our goal is to unite a community of MCs to intentionally create an ecosystem where we can come together and trade resources to develop a system of open mics, pop-up events and concerts that support one another. That way the networks within the city can be nurtured integrally by people who create and understand the art financially and structurally. In our first installation, we were blessed to book Swvnk, Rae.Dianz and Smoothwaffle (our headliner) for an amazing musical experience that we hope you enjoy. Giveaways will be provided, food will be free and the vibes will be authentic . See you there ! Eli Capella is a 23 year old creative & performing artist , event curator and entrepeneur. Hailing from Philadelphia , The Illadel Child specializes in being a Hip-Hop MC and Singer. He uses his dynamic stage presence to captivate crowds with strong lyrical messages layered with amazing production and catchy hooks. God has blessed Capella to open up for acts such as Slick Rick, Styles P, Smiff & Wesson, Freeway, Monica, Sister Sledge and many more. Throughout his success , he maintains humility by running a Hip-Hop Club at Simon Gratz Highschool for teenagers pursuing a musical career and also curates Performing artist workshops for independent artists. Eli's biggest goal is to aid in uplifting Philly to be the art hub it deserves to be through integrity , unity and love for his community.
