Doors at 6, show at 7! ZAN FISKUM “One with nature…delivering a profound performance” – Billboard Magazine Every once in a while there’s a voice that seems to strike a note for each generation. That voice takes you to a place that’s more intimate than public and more expressive and exuberant than what you expected. Zan Fiskum is that voice. From her childhood experiences in community musical theater to her soaring interpretation of Bob Dylan‘s classic “Blowin’ In The Wind”, Zan has grown leaps and bounds to place herself possibly as one of the dynamic female vocalists to emerge from the Pacific Northwest since Ann Wilson and Brandi Carlisle. Not only is her voice a spectacular instrument, her song writing will take you on a journey to travel inside the passion and the pain of today’s youthful anxieties. Stepping into the national spotlight by placing in the top 9 on The Voice Season #18, Zan gained much support from her mentor/coach John Legend. This exposure was just the first of many more to come as the world discovers her songwriting skills and passion. APOLOGY WARS “Though Apology Wars’ sound has this way of producing a lucid and harmonious unison of vocals, strings, and drums, their music is anything but soft.” – What’s Up Like a superhero landing with a giant BOOM onto a city street after a leap toward the heavens, the Bellingham, WA-based rock ‘n’ roll band, Apology Wars, hit the Northwest music landscape upon releasing their debut EP, The Best I Can Do Is Ruin A Party, in August 2019. Since then, the four-piece group has already graced the airwaves of the famed radio stations, KEXP 90.3 and 107.7 The End, earned "Band of the Week" for 99.9 KISW, and several features from the outlet, Ballard Vox. Apology Wars, which has shared stages with Northwest greats like BEARAXE and Naked Giants, is at times vigorous, at times gruff and at times Super Bowl halftime-worthy. The band often feels larger than the sum of their parts. Whether performing songs about life-versus-simulation or climate change and capitalism, the group extends themselves beyond expectations to deliver more, more, always more. And that sound you hear over your shoulder is the group landing at a venue near you. Please keep yourself and those around you safe! Use hand sanitizer and wash your hands with soap and water, frequently. An urban basecamp for the mind, body and soul. A vibrant, members-only community in the heart of South Lake Union that merges dynamic space, active members, neat programs and craveable food + beverage offerings.
