Veteran BDR ride through some of Oregon's most scenic areas. Who: Veterans ONLY What: This is an opportunity to ride the amazing Oregon Back Country. We will guide a small group of Veterans east on OBDR Route 6 and 2. We will end at the Cowboy Dinner Tree in Silver Lake, OR. When: July 31st to August 4th DETAILS: You will need a dual sport or adv style motorcycle capable of a multi-day ride. Your motorcycle should have a range of 200 miles (tank or fuel bags) This will be mostly gravel/dirt BDR style roads with some technical terrain and possible obstacles. You should be capable of backcountry camping and cooking from your bike . Breakfast and dinner will be provided on August 3rd We will meet at Costco warehouse in Wilsonville Oregon @ 8:30am. Kickstands up @ 9:00am sharp. We will the south to Sutherlin, OR. There, we will pick up OBDR 6 and ride east until joining OBDR 2 near crescent lake. We will end OBDR 2 at the Cowboy Dinner Tree Silver Lake, OR and will be exploring the Oregon outback on the last day (August 3rd). Parting ways and heading home Aug 4th There will be lodging accommodations available August 2nd and 3rd in the Cabins at the Cowboy Dinner Tree. If that’s not your style you can choose to sleep under the stars.
