This in-person workshop will provide the necessary information needed to orient you as a member of King County's Trusted Partner Network.
As a partner in community preparedness and engagement, we hope you will join King County Emergency Management staff and regional stakeholders to learn what it is to be a member of the King County Trusted Partner Network. This network will serve as a pivotal resource in delivering critical, lifesaving information to all members of an affected community in a manner conducive to their culture and/or language.
Members of the Trusted Partner Network will serve as Ambassadors to non-English speaking communities throughout the region, bridging the gap to raise awareness and importance of emergency notifications and the critical, lifesaving information they can provide. This workshop is specifically designed for those who have been recruited to serve on the Trusted Partner Network. This orientation will cover minimum requirements, course of action, orientation into the King County Emergency Notification System: ALERT King County.
All participants are welcome. This program will take place as our first in-person TPN Orientation and will follow our Trusted Partner Network Kick-off Event. This is the sixth iteration of this orientation.
