Join us for an evening with MBR Bike Shop to talk bike maintenance and enjoy classic craft brews!
We'll be joined by MBR Bike Shop's Founder, Jesse Angelo, to learn the basics and essentials of bike mechanics and maintenance, focusing primarily on the most important issues that might arise during a typical commute. Great for the beginner biker who wants to learn more about the innerworkings of their bike, to the more experienced cyclist who never learned how to fix things in a pinch. You can expect to leave more confident and capable to take on common maintenance needs as they arise.
A few things we'll cover:
1. Basic understanding of shifting gears
2. Basic understanding of cable tension on brakes
3. A basic understanding of tightness of bolts
4. A quick lesson on changing a tube
Come with questions... and feel free to bring your bike for hands on practice and feedback in real time!
