Time for some summer FUN with our fantastic South Sound FUNdraising community! As we emerge from an unprecedented year of change and challenges, we are eager to gather safely with you and see your smiles face-to-face. Recognizing that the year has been incredibly difficult for many, we are also providing an opportunity to help My Sister's Pantry, a local food and clothing bank. My Sister's Pantry strives to help improve the lives of families that are struggling financially. Since opening its doors to the community in 1999, it has become one of the busiest food banks in the Tacoma area. AFP South Sound is grateful for their work in our community and is happy to partner with them for this food drive and to help raise awareness about their work. Whether it is the canned foods that they need most (http://mysisterspantry.org/give-help/) or a cash donation so that they can flex with what is truly needed at the time, we hope you will join us in this community effort. Please join us for our annual social featuring beer tasting by Northwest Brewing Company as well as a beverage of your choice (Beer/wine/cider/soda) with a few local bites to round out the evening. The AFP South Sound Chapter serves the educational and networking needs of fundraising professionals living or working in the South Puget Sound region, including Pierce, Mason, Thurston, Kitsap and south King counties.
