Beautiful, healthy, 3 year old, male Sun Conure! He is very !LOUD! This is normal for all conures, please be absolutely certain you have done your research regarding owning parrots, especially conures. Listen to them on You Tube! Several times a day they squawk for fun:) All parrots are messy, destructive and can be temperamental! This boy was hand-fed as a baby and is a pet, he does however have preferences- mainly female but does take to some males. He needs to be in a home where he gets more attention and out of cage time. I don’t want to see him “flipped”, traded or rehomed a million times. I will be picky as to where/who he goes to. He loves to fly from shoulder to shoulder, take baths, eat at the table and hang out with people, he is generally sweet but can be cage aggressive (he comes out on his time;) he speaks a little but his voice is not as “clear” as larger parrots. He is flighted and flys well. These birds live much longer than say a dog or cat, so it is a 20-30 year commitment.
