Experienced and dedicated drummer looking for band members. Ideally I think I would like to tackle something like a Rush cover / tribute band, or something in that vein. The end goal would be to gig. I'm thinking several higher quality gigs per year vs playing multiple times a month for $300. That takes a dedicated band and a 'tribute' that would be in demand. You don't very see many Rush cover bands. This would require a guitarist, bassist, and a vocalist (male or female). A keyboardist could be useful. I want to be challenged. I've been playing for over 30 years and have been active in the local scene for the last 10. I am experienced in song writing and composing drum parts as well. Will consider other possibilities, but the key thing is that I don't want to be in regular old cover band, been there, done that, and while it was fun I would like a creative challenge. I have all my own drum equipment as well as a mid level sound system. Contact me if interested.
