Walk the Wards are a great way to improve your health, enjoy your neighborhood or explore a new one, meet people and get connected. The Cleveland Department of Aging is sponsoring a walk in each of the city wards this summer. You can take these "Fitness Friday” walks at your own pace but with the support of others. All participants will receive a Senior Walk t-shirt and a Resource bag. New this year, receive your Passport to the Parks at your first walk. Attend five (5) or more walks this summer and you will be entered into a raffle. This Ward 6 walk will be at Fairhill Partners, located at 12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44120. We will meet up at E flagpole, located in the east parking lot. We will be following all Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) protocols for safety. Look for the Department of Aging Staff in orange t-shirts at each location. To register, please contact the Department of Aging at 216-664-4383 or [email protected] or by registering via eventbrite. By registering ahead of time, you will be notified if the walk is cancelled due to inclement weather. There is no cost to attend.
