Rock Night at Platforms! Featuring Black Plain Road, Darker than Blue and a Pink Floyd tribute by Purple Moon! Friday, the 30th of July at Platforms Dance Club will be an amazing evening of music, fun, and memories to wash away the quarantine blues. Three bands will entertain throughout the night featuring original rock, classic rock covers, and an off-the-record Pink Floyd tribute performance of the Dark Side of the Moon album and the Wish You Were Here album. Darker Than Blue is a Providence RI band formed in 2019. The band combines elements of lounge, goth, ambient & gritty blues. Black Plain Road is a seven member band of Smithfield RI musicians who bring out a high energy show featuring classic rock and blues. HEADLINER: Purple Moon is a 5 member band from Boston playing albums and hits like Dark Side of The Moon and Wish You Were Here from one of the worlds most beloved bands Pink Floyd.
