Join Net Impact Boston and Eastie Farm for a composting workshop, tour of Eastie Farm, followed by a comedy show! Tired of working indoors all day? Ready to enjoy nature and get your hands dirty a little? Join Net Impact Boston and Eastie Farm for a fun evening of composting and comedy. Take a tour of Eastie Farm's groundbreaking urban farm, attend a composting workshop, then stay for an evening of comedy, featuring Like 2 Laugh productions. Our goal is to raise $500 to support Eastie Farm's work! We encourage folks to give what they can. Eastie Farm is located at 294 Sumner St. in East Boston, a five minute walk from the Maverick Square station on the Blue Line T. It is just ten minutes from downtown! Parking can be limited so we recommend that folks take public transit. Covid Protocols: This is Net Impact Boston's first in person event in over a year. This will be outdoors, and we are following all Covid guidelines. If you are not vaccinated we ask that you wear a mask. Rain Date: In case of rain or extreme heat, the workshop will be held on Thursday, 7/22. We will notify all attendees in advance. About Eastie Farm: Eastie Farm is dedicated to pursuing climate justice, improving food access, and fostering community resilience through the development of interactive urban agricultural spaces and environmental education programs in which residents of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to learn and take part in the production of healthy, locally-grown, and culturally relevant foods.
