At this workshop for educators, learn content to help lead self-guided field trips to the Eccles Wildlife Education Center in the future. At this workshop for educators, learn about the Eccles Wildlife Education Center and Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area (WMA) so you can confidently lead your own self-guided field trips in the future. Utah DWR staff will provide site-specific wildlife information and help you adapt this content to your learners. They will also train you to use binoculars, sweep nets and other equipment that your classes may be able to borrow from the center. You'll be oriented to both the Eccles Wildlife Education Center and Farmington Bay WMA, including learning relevant access rules. By the end of this workshop you'll be generating ideas for how to apply what you've learned to your practice — whether you're taking your students to this habitat or a similar one. Attending this workshop is not required in order to reserve a self-guided field trip.
