Drivers On Call/ Shop Help- For Film/Television

Looking for some folks with roots in the pioneer valley. Very flexible work schedule We are a Film/Television Lighting and grip rental house.. providing film crew and gear throughout the northeast.(www.FastLights.com) Sometimes we are slammed off the charts, other times we have nothing on the board. When slammed...we often need help to deliver and pick up gear throughout the northeast. Must have an excellent driver's record, able to lift heavy gear with a smile, and love books on tape for the long drives. Beyond that, looking for someone (perhaps retired or Vo-tech student) that would like a steady Part-time work for two days a week, preferably weekends, but we are flexible. Must be mechanically inclined. Half decent carpentry skills. Duties would include.. loading and unloading gear (when needed), cleaning trucks, keeping the shop tidy and everything in place, dealing with recycling, fixing gear, snow removal, general property maintenance...etc. s Hoping for a long term engagement... Might also have one day a week available for House Keeper Lawn maintenance/ gardener/ live stock type person to help keep the yard, garden, offices, and bathrooms tidy and clean, and take care of our Reindeer (for hand-milked ice cream experimentation ) Send along a cover letter and resume of some sort.
