Description

KCCB is partnering with Our City Forest, San Jose's tree planting and management community organization. Come join us and spend the morning caring for the plants in Our City Forest's Community Nursery. We're working together for a greener San Jose, and your help to re-pot, care for, and water plants, shrubs, and trees, many of which are native to California, used in plantings throughout the greater San Jose region. In the fall, we'll partner with Our City Forest to conduct some tree maintenance and plantings, so see where it all starts. And, you can purchase some of the plants while you're there to support their efforts to make San Jose more green while benefiting your garden and local wildlife. Community service hours available. REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE: *Please print and fill out the following 2 forms and have them with you at the event. If you forget, there will be forms for you to fill out before you participate at this event. *Our City Forests Volunteer Waiver and Release Form *Vaccination Staus Form *We do ask that anyone under 18 have parent permission and anyone under 12 have parent or guardian supervision. *Follow current County requirements. Since this event has a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals, wearing a mask and keeping 6ft social distance when possible is suggested. We will not provide masks. Also if you feel ill on the day of the event, you agree that you will not attend. Working Together for a Vibrant Coyote Creek   Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful works with community members, groups and agencies to reclaim, restore, and beautify Coyote Creek. We do this by taking care of the creek, helping people to learn more about it, and offering ways to enjoy the creek.   EIN: 82-1286610
