Onigiri Kororin celebrates one year of being in business with a celebration at The Martin including music, drinks & onigiri samples!
Born out of the pandemic, Yuta Katsuyama & Cristina Tarriba created Onigiri Kororin in order to share authentic Japanese cuisine that was missing from Chicago's food landscape. One year later, they're thrilled to be celebrating the milestone in person with their community!
Join us for this free event where Yuta & Cristina will be welcoming together their community for the first time - sharing space, time, their story, onigiri samples, music, drinks and more.
Onigiri is a Japanese rice ball and can be prepared in many different ways. Yuta + Cristina will be sharing some of their unique concoctions of onigiri (all nut free!) during the event, so stop by for a sample, meet the entrepreneurs and enjoy a drink or two in celebration of a milestone and sharing space.
The Martin & Split-Rail are both ADA accessible! Both spaces also remain mask mandated at this time, regardless of vaccination status.
Want to dine at Split-Rail before or after your celebration with Kororin? We recommend making a reservation.
The Martin is an artist-first community space located in the West Town neighborhood of Chicago.
