Come join Veterans Upward Bound - Chicago as we welcome our veterans back to school across the city and enjoy America's favorite pastime! Learn more about VUB at our Back to School Meet the VUB Team Event! Chicago Dogs Baseball game on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, first pitch at 7:05 pm Registration includes: VUB T-Shirt, VUB Swag Bag, Chicago Dogs game ticket, box meal with drink and popcorn during the game. Transportation provided prior to game time from the CTA Blue Line, Rosemont Station to Impact Field and after the game from Impact Field to the CTA Blue Line, Rosemont Station. If you chose to drive, the parking garage is first come, first served and costs $3 per car or free is you drive a Hyundai. Box meal includes: 1 hotdog, 1 burger, coleslaw, potato salad, cookie, and a soda Must register by set deadline, Monday, August 2nd. Registrant must be a veteran who does not have a dishonorable discharge, has not yet earned a Bachelor’s degree, and lives in Cook County. If you complete the VUB Application here (VUB Participant Application), you are eligible to bring a guest, who does not have to be a veteran! Additionally, if you have never been a VUB participant and complete the VUB application prior to the event, you will be entered into a drawing for prizes!
