Mixed flock of 8 layer hens ranging from 1 to 4 years old, one is a senior but she keeps up and still lays! They have always been free range and shut in at night. I get 3-5 eggs a day, and they laid all winter too. Healthy and friendly bunch. I just don't have as much time now for them with taking care of my elderly mother.
