CIRAS is offering a two-day educational opportunity filled with practical insights and tips to help participants effectively and efficiently conduct internal quality system audits. ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training, scheduled for August 11-12 in Ames, will be led by an experienced QMS auditor. Participants will learn the "Heads-Up" auditing technique for finding value-added improvement opportunities. You'll learn the 9-Step Auditing Methodology for interviewing, as well as basic principles of auditing, note-taking techniques, and how to write audit findings. Hands-on exercises will be used to help attendees learn and apply auditing skills and techniques. This class also will cover the background of the ISO 9001 standard, including defining the purpose of the quality management system, quality management principles, risk-based thinking, and the reasons for registration to ISO 9001:2015. This training is equally applicable to AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and other ISO 9001 based systems. This event is for: Internal auditors (both first-time and those requiring refresher training) or anyone charged with internal auditor duties and responsibilities ISO management representatives QA managers Quality engineers Managers/supervisors. Anyone else who just wants a better understanding of the new ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Attendees will receive in-class exercises and other hand-out materials, including an "Audit Methodology" pocket card for each student. Certificates will be provided upon completion of the training.
