R&F Pigment Sticks allow you to paint with oils without a brush! R&F Pigment Sticks allow you to paint with oils without a brush! Learn how to use transparent and opaque colors within one piece to create your own tints, tones, and palettes. Join New York-based R&F Core Instructor, Caryl St. Ama, in this special 2-day workshop to dive deeper into working with oil-based pigment sticks. Students will learn about the R&F product line, information for safe handling, helpful studio practices and preparing substrates. The instructor will also demo "direct mark-making" and how to incorporate brayers, stencils, cold wax, mixed media, and more. Artists from all backgrounds will see how this product can enhance their work or start a new direction all together. Great for all skill levels and those new to working with oils! Participants will learn: Manage drying timesWork wet-on-wetAbility to work with or without solvents​Add a gestural quality to your work without using a brushIncluded in your workshop fee: Access to use R&F Pigment Sticks and R&F Blending Mediums during the workshop.
