Job description Fulcrum Steel is hiring for two different positions, a welder, and field installers. If you have experience with either and can complete the job descriptions below, please reach out to us! Welder: Pay = $20-$26 per hour and will DEPEND ON EXPERIENCE - Interpret shop fabrication drawings - Experience working with standard metalworking equipment including saws, punches, grinders, drills, and welding equipment - Performs standard shop math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) - Read a tape measure proficiently - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace - Must be able to weld 3g/4g - Familiarity with stick and wire welding - Supply your own gear - 5+ years of metal fabrication experience welding in FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW - Proficient with bandsaws, ironworkers, oxy/fuel torches, plasma torches - Detail-oriented self-starter Field Installer: Pay = $16-$23 per hour and will DEPEND ON EXPERIENCE The field installer will be responsible for assisting with the installation of steel carports on active job sites. You must be able to perform the following tasks: - Read and execute blue prints and layouts - Maintain a clean and organized job site - Check equipment daily and report due services, wear and tear, etc. - Inventory material on arrival time - Report to Field Supervisors with clear communication - Understand and follow safety practices - Comply with rules on site issued by GC - Thorough knowledge of job requirements, equipment, materials, practices, etc. - Ability to work with your team in a positive and effective manner - Ask questions if unsure of duties
