This is a group ride designed for fun and building a mountain bike community. Riders of all skill levels are welcome! Welcome to the Big Sky Thursday Night Ride hosted by Grizzly Outfitters! First off, this ride is for riders of all skill levels! The whole point of being on a bike is to have fun and if we can make some friends in that process, than mission accomplished! Here are the details of the ride: -Rides are held every Thursday -Meet promptly at 5 PM at Grizzly Outfitters -Rental bikes are available with a group ride discounted rate! -Rides will last approximately 1.5 hours. Distances vary, but average rides will be between 2-5 miles for beginners and 5-10 miles for intermediate/ advanced riders -There will always be two groups (one beginner and one intermediate/advanced) -Both groups will have designated a designated ride leader, support rider, and sweeper. No one will be left behind! -Big Sky has a large arseanl of trails. We will be exploring all these and featuring new trails each week. Terrain varies, however, all of the trails are Cross country/ singletrack oriented. -Social Distancing policies are in place at all times, as we want to ensure everyone's health and safety is taken into account! -Things that are required for the ride: Bike, Helmet, Water, Spare Tube, Inflation Source. Following the ride, we want to encourage everyone to check out Music in the Meadow hosted by the Big Sky Art Council. This is a free event which starts every Thursday on 7 pm! It is located approximately 50 yards from our shop and is held in a large outdoor complex! So be sure to bring some lawn chairs and come beverages for some good tunes and good times following the ride! We are so excited to have everyone come out and join us!
