A fun evening outdoors with friends, food, live music, and good conversation to benefit My Brother's Keeper! Please join us on Friday, October 1st, 2021 at 5:30 PM ! Our focus is local. My Brother's Keeper serves a geographic area ranging from Fall River, New Bedford, and the Cape north to Boston. Since the beginning of the pandemic, My Brother's Keeper launched a Food Assistance Program from the Dartmouth facility, making more than 7,200 food deliveries to South Coast families in need. We provide an unduplicated service. We are the only organization in the area delivering furniture free of charge to the less fortunate. All are eligible for assistance. Anyone residing in our geographic area is eligible tor receive our assistance without regard to religion. We have a proven history of success. Over the past 33 years, we have made 171,000 deliveries to struggling families and individuals. Today, we make 18,500 deliveries a year. We are 100% privately funded. We receive no funds from the local, state, or federal government. We are supported by 4,000 volunteers. Thousands of volunteers come to My Brother's Keeper each year to experience the joy of service, including more than 1,500 students from `100+ schools. Return on Investment. Your donation does the most good because we significantly leverage financial contributions. Two examples: the average retail value of our good delivery is $200 - our cost, only $12.
