No-Contact Paper Shredding held in Brookside! Join us for our annual Shred Event Saturday, July 10th from 8am-11am (or until the truck is full) in the parking lot behind Jalapeno's (6318 Brookside Plaza - next to the tennis courts). What to Bring: Paper documents you'd like securely shredded. 2 containers (file boxes or equivalent) per person. Please don't bring stiff metal, plastic bags or items that will jam the shredder, or items that can be recycled like phonebooks, newspapers, and magazines. How it works: Please place your boxes/bags in your trunk or unoccupied rear seat and remain in your vehicle while dropping off items to be shredded. A volunteer will take the items and place them in a container to be securely shredded on site. The Brookside Business Association is a voluntary organization whose purpose is to create and preserve a pleasant surrounding for conducting business in the Brookside Shops (started over 100 years ago in 1919) and serving our community. We accomplish this by, among other things, maintaining common parking areas, providing for landscaping and trash removal, promoting special activities and events like the Brookside Art Annual, and working with the City, Parks Department, Area Transportation Authority, tenants, property owners and neighborhood stakeholders.
