Description

We are looking for apartment maintenance and construction workers for our South Bay and Fremont Apartments. Ideal candidates experienced with electrical, plumbing, and appliance installation; drywall repair; painting. Skillset to include replacement of interior fixtures and finishes. Responsibilities: -Will perform basic carpentry and handyman work, including but not limited to some framing, cabinet installation, door trim and hardware installation, subfloor replacement, minor plumbing work and fixture installation, minor electrical and lighting installation, minor drywall replacement, etc. -Work well with others, a good "people person" -Understand scope of work, and thoroughly, methodically complete work according to Project Manager's direction -Be on time, every time; punctuality is critical -Ensure job site is secure and safe at all times -Leave job site clean and organized at the end of every work day -Drive to and from job sites throughout South Bay Area an Fremont Qualifications: -Must have a valid CA Drivers License -Must have handyman and carpentry skills -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check -Strong problem-solving skills -Laborer MUST have reliable transportation to and from jobs and have their own hand tools. If you have a work vehicle and all your own power tools it will be reflected in your rate of pay. Hand tools include tool belt, tape measure, drill, screw driver, utility knife, hammer, pencil, square, snips, and chalk. Physical demands: -Must be able to work with hands doing various skilled labor work -Must be able and willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather conditions -Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50 to 100 pounds -Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time Base pay is determined by experience.
